It is rather obvious, but in warm temperatures you prefer not to drink very heavy beers with a high alcohol content. L A light, crisp beer with a lower alcohol content is perfect for a summer day. Alcohol-free or low-alcohol beer is also a real trend. We are making more and more conscious choices: we consume less meat, eat more locally and drinking alcohol-free or low-alcohol beer is also very popular. These beers are real summertime hits
'Pure fruit juice has been added to this beer: mainly cherries, but also red berries and raspberries. The addition of the gently sour red fruit and the low alcohol content of 3.9% make this drink ideally suited for a lovely summer afternoon on the patio. Eat a fruit salad or some shrimp with a sweet dip with it; it's a great combination. You can serve this beer festively as a kind of cocktail with ice cubes, a slice of lime and a sprig of mint. That looks extra nice and also adds something to the taste, but I personally find the beer pure at its best anyway.
'This is not a beer to drink in large quantities, as it is a relatively heavy boy with an alcohol content of 8.5%. But after a long hot summer day - when the sun is slowly setting - a Cornet is a great afterglow on the terrace. It really is a beer for which you have to take your time. Goes very well with entrecote with fries and grilled vine tomatoes'.
'This beer (5.4%) comes from the south of Germany, from the oldest brewery in the world. When you pour the beer it looks very cloudy. This is because the particles of proteins and yeast are not filtered out. This gives the beer a characteristic soft and creamy mouthfeel and a very fresh, fruity taste. Even though there is no fruit in it at all! This beer tastes perfect with vegetable skewers with naan bread.
If you are in the mood for a delicious and low-alcohol glass of beer, then the Uiltje Superb-owl is a perfect choice. This low-alcohol IPA (0.2%) uses quite a lot of aromatic hops, so you hardly miss the alcohol as a flavor enhancer. Not only very tasty, but the can also looks cool.
